Why you should make a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)

A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) allows you to grant powers to your trusted person(s) (your Donee(s)) to make decisions on your behalf in the event that you lose capacity). For instance, if you suffer from dementia or if you are comatose.

Your donees can have wide-ranging powers and can be empowered to make decisions on your medical treatment and/or personal finances and property. You can also appoint a replacement donee, who will take over if your donee is unwilling or unable to act.

Here at Christopher Bridges Law Corporation, we are able to advise you on the most appropriate type of LPA, as well as what powers to assign your donee(s) based on your individual needs.

Package rates apply for making a will together with your LPA.
